House Staff Salaries
Salaries for Resident Physician I, II, and III

Travel
Housestaff receives financial support with presenting works of scholarship (e.g., posters, presentations) at academic meetings and conferences.

Memberships
Each housestaff will have membership in the residency section of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Book Money
Housestaff will receive a stipend that can be used towards purchase of educational materials.

Vacation:
Each resident receives 4 weeks of vacation per year of training.

Leave:
Information about sick leave, paternity leave, maternity leave, military leave, and jury duty can be found on the UCLA Graduate Medical Education Policies page.

Insurance
Housestaff and their dependents are eligible for both health and dental insurance benefits, as well as vision care. A life insurance plan and disability insurance are also available to employees. These plans are offered at no charge to housestaff, their spouses, and children. Deductibles and co-payments may apply, according to Hospital policy.
